Installing Camouflage

Welcome to the Camouflage installation guide. Choose your edition and follow the installation instructions.

Editions​

Community Edition (CE)​

Camouflage Community Edition is our free, open-source offering that provides:

  • 1 Gateway Daemon
  • Support for up to 10 Nodes
  • Core networking features
  • Access Control Lists (ACLs)
  • Basic monitoring and logging

Install Enterprise Edition →

Desktop App (macOS / Windows)​

Download the Camouflage desktop app from the Downloads page.

macOS​

  1. Download the .dmg file for your architecture (Apple Silicon or Intel)
  2. Open the downloaded DMG file
  3. Drag Camouflage into your Applications folder

Install Camouflage on macOS

  1. Launch Camouflage from Applications
  2. The app will prompt for permission to install the system daemon
  3. Once installed, the Camouflage Hub will open

Windows​

  1. Download the .exe installer
  2. Run the installer as Administrator
  3. Follow the installation prompts
  4. Launch Camouflage from the Start menu
